An original mixed media portrait on a thick Khadi cotton rag paper, with a lovely deckled edge. This very striking mature female has a penetrating stare! I loved painting this one, a real challenge. The substrate is highly absorbent which causes the paint to take on a very pleasing matt quality, which in turn makes the portrait seem almost antique. Size approx. 21cm x 15cm.
